I'm Zane, editor and lead researcher at Cex101.com. I started Cex101 in 2025 to give people entering crypto a clearer way to compare centralized exchanges. Before that, I spent seven years as a professional trader, both in crypto and traditional markets.

At Cex101, I focus on CEX reviews: trading fees, security records, audit and proof-of-reserve updates, KYC requirements, supported regions, fiat access, and user restrictions. Our coverage runs in 7+ languages because exchange availability, compliance rules, and user experience change a lot by country. Most of my research is on how crypto users in Asia and Europe actually choose exchanges — trading patterns, payment rails, and risk tolerance vary by region.

My editorial approach is data-driven and cautious. I rely on exchange documents, fee schedules, security disclosures, regulatory notices, and hands-on checks where possible. Cex101 may earn affiliate commissions from some exchanges, but affiliate relationships do not decide our rankings or conclusions. We disclose commercial relationships, never publish paid content as independent analysis, and mark interpretation separately from confirmed facts.
